Additional Information
About My Work
I take a political economy approach to the study of corporate power. My current book project focuses on corporations as governing authorities, examining “corporate social responsibility” as a system of Company Rule from the 17th century to the present. I am also interested in how corporations exercise influence in the media and in politics, and in corporate accountability under international law. In addition to my academic career, I am an award-winning business journalist.
Professional Associations
I regularly attend conferences in the fields of international relations, political economy, law and public policy, including the International Studies Association, the Institute for Global Law and Policy and the Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics. More information about my background, interests and current projects can be found on: http://www.maha-rafi-atal.com/
