APPEAL is developing the theoretical justification for the radical rethinking of economic practice that CED attorneys who practice solidarity economics, such as myself, already engage with through our daily client work. The theoretical insights in my view lag the work that I see being done on the ground by black and indigenous clients actively decolonizing and disorganizing the mainstream traditional institutions. The theory needs to catch up, and I would like to contribute to that.
